It's convenient, handy, and light. It does a reasonably good job of hedge and bush trimming as well as edging the lawn. I love that it's battery operated. HOWEVER ... it's hell to edge with this (because you have to be on your hands and knees); there's a competitive product that comes with an attachment so that the user can use it like a weedwhacker (which would be a very good enhancement for this). Another detraction is that while motors vibrate (which is usually fine), because this is SO light that motor vibration does make the entire device kinda twitch in your hand. I also think the hedge trimming blade could have been slightly longer because it's tough to reach to certain areas. Overall, a very good value for the money.
