I bought this combo for a kitchen remodel job and love it. Tools are solid, and the batteries last forever! Seriously, the charges on the Lithium Ion batteries last longer than any other technology I've ever owned. I have had Milwaukee, Makita, Porter Cable etc. all with NiCad or NiMh batteries - but this set outlasts them all! The other NiCad batteries only lasted a few years before you had to buy replacements, which cost as much as the tool itself. With a lifetime warranty on both the tools AND the batteries, how can you go wrong? As for the other reviewer saying these are heavy, I guess that depends on your point of reference...my Porter Cable circular is a tank and weighs as much, so these feel feather light by comparison, they are very powerful and have solid construction that should test Ridgid's LIFETIME WARRANTY! BTW, mine came with a snazzy 45 degree twisting Compact Florescent Light (CFL) rather than the light pictured here. The light is free-standing and should last 20 years at least. My only wish is that the set had the matching cordless Jigsaw rather than the compact impact driver (which I don't use that often), but I picked up the jigsaw separately for $89 at HD.
